Meet the Parents — Erick & Eveling Garcia

Administrator, Medical Director and Physicians

As Christian, Nicaraguan-trained physicians, Erick and Eveling are a rare and wonderful asset to our children’s home.  Erick and Eveling became our full-time directors  on Feb 18, 2004.  With the first house sitting vacant until our approval from the Family Ministry was accomplished, Erick quickly completed the tedious process of certification and training for our facility.  Employees were hired, educated, childcare plans created and mountains of paperwork completed.  We passed our site visit with flying colors.  Within 6 mos of receiving our first child we were ranked 2nd out of 37 children homes in the entire country of Nicaragua.  Soon the medical clinic was finished and Eveling began caring for the children’s needs.  With primary oversight of the children’s well-being, Eveling is a vital partner to Erick.  She also directs the medication room, clothing supplies, shopping for meals (currently for 45 persons, 3 meals a day) and takes very good care of Erick.  Eveling is an angel from God with a very big halo.

Gracias to the Garcia’s for a job still being well-done!  We love you both.  God bless you.
